Organization
Attached to the University of Bordeaux, IAE Bordeaux is a constituent school of the College of Law, Political Science, Economics and Management. It benefits from a special status which gives it autonomy in terms of management. A Board decides upon the strategic decisions taken notably by the Operations Committee.

UNIVERSITY OF BORDEAUX
The University of Bordeaux is a public institution with its own governance, operating under the supervision of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The University of Bordeaux, a fundamentally multidisciplinary establishment, has divided its programmes into four main colleges. Colleges which group together the training components (training units, faculties and institutes). IAE Bordeaux is part of the College of Law, Political Science, Economics, and Management.
This multidisciplinary approach is also reflected in the structure of the university's research activities. The University of Bordeaux has eight doctoral schools, grouped together in a doctoral studies college, and 11 research departments, bringing together 90 laboratories, institutes and technical platforms in nearly 50 disciplines. The faculty of IAE Bordeaux are affiliated with IRGO, the university’s research center in management sciences. They are also connected to the Doctoral School "Economic sciences, management and demographics", which provides a pathway for doctoral studies in management.
