Application process

You have found the perfect program, but you don’t know how to apply? Read the following information to find out more about the application process.

1 - Choose your program and find out about our entry requirements

Before submitting your application for one of our programs, it is important to check whether you meet the minimum entry requirements of IAE Bordeaux.

2 - Submit your online application form

The second step is to submit a written application, which includes assembling a variety of materials that will help us assess your qualifications.


3 - Submit the required documents

Once you have completed your online application form, you have to upload the following documents right after your application form.

You can submit the required documents either in English or French

  • Copies of transcripts
  • Copies of all previous diplomas awarded
  • Passport copy (or ID card if European)
  • Letter of motivation 
  • CV 
  • English language test or certificate of studies in English
  • One passport/(ID) photo


Keep in mind that applications cannot be reviewed until they are complete. Any missing mandatory or additional materials must be received by the Admissions Office within one week of your initial application submission.

4 - Wait for your application to be assessed

Once we have received all required application components, the review process will begin. Academic professors from the EBA / MBA / IBM program gathered as an Admission Jury, carry out this review process. Our Admission jury will decide whether an applicant is eligible for an interview or not.

In all cases, the Applicant shall receive an answer by the dates set out in the application periods section.

5 - Attend an online interview

After your written application has been submitted and we have reviewed your supporting documents, you may be invited for an online interview. This interview will be carried out either through Zoom or Skype.


When should I apply ? 

Application Periods

Every year, four rounds of application submissions are organized between February and May.


The First round of application submissions: February 1st to February 22nd, 2021

  • Interviews:

- For M1-EBA & M2 MBA ; March 5th & 9th 

- For M2-IBM  ; March 5th & 10th 

  • Results:One week after the Admission Interview
  • Student confirmation deadline (with first payment): to be confirmed

The Second round of application submissions : February 23rd to March 25th

  • Interviews : March 29th & 30th
  • Results :One week after the Admission Interview  ( April 5th & 6th ) 
  • Student confirmation deadline (with first payment): to be confirmed

The Third round of application submissions: March 26th to April 10th


  • Interviews: MAY 25th
  • Results:  two weeks after the Admission Interview
  • Student confirmation deadline (with first payment): to be confirmed

The Fourth wave of application submissions : M1-EBA & M2-MBA programs: April 26th to May 22nd. For M2-IBM program; May 18th to June 17th

  •  M1-EBA & M2-MBA programs interviews:  May 27th & 28th
  • M2-IBM: For the moment, the admission jury is reviewing the fourth round of application submissions and will decide whether applicants have been preselected for the interview or not.
    In any case, applicants will receive the admission jury decision in the first week of July.

  • Interview ( For M2-IBM ); July 6th & 7th
  • Results: One week after the Admission Interview


The application submission for M1-EBA & M2-IBM programs has been over for the academic year of 2021-2022 . 

The application submission for M2-MBA program is still open until Mid-July,2021.
