Applications for 2026-2027 Academic Year are now open
Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year for international programs are now open in February 2026. Applications must be completed entirely on the E-Candidat online platform.
No applications received by email will be considered.
Application and Program Fees
- A mandatory application fee of €30 is required at the time of application for the processing and review of applications. You must pay these fees via: Esup payment link This fee is deducted from the registration fee if the applicant is admitted to the program;
- All international students at the University of Bordeaux, regardless of nationality, EU or non-EU status, or age, are subject to mandatory fees for the 2026-2027 academic year amounting to :
- €5,154 for the Year 1 (EBA) broken down as IAE Business School fees €4,900 and registration fee €254*
- €5,654 for the Year 2 (MBA or IBM), broken down as IAE Business School fees €5,400 and registration fee €254*
*Please note that the registration fee may change each year, in accordance with regulations set by French higher education authorities.

Application Process
1. Select your program and Review the entry requirements
Before submitting your application, please ensure you meet the expected skills and knowledge requirements for the international programs at IAE Bordeaux.
To learn more about each program, you can visit the respective program webpages. Below you will find the admission requirements for applications 2026/2027 and the mandatory documents that must be included with your application :
2. Gather the required documents
Please ensure that all documents are clear, readable, and correctly oriented before submitting on the platform.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Motivation Letter : Must be concise (maximum one A4 page, approximately 500- 700 words) and original, not AI-generated.
- Most recent and final diplomas
- Academic Transcripts of the above diploma
Please note that the most recent academic transcript must meet the minimum academic criteria, corresponding to a cumulative academic level (GPA) equivalent to a “Good” or “Upper Second Class” classification. This corresponds approximately to :- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- A minimum GPA of approximately 3.5 or higher on a 5.0 scale
- An overall average of 14.5/20 or higher on a 20-point grading scale
- A “B” or “B+” average in grading systems using letter grades.
- Language Proficiency
Applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency through one of the options below:
1. Medium of Instruction (MOI) Certificate issued by the university.
2. English Language Test Scores : If the above does not apply, applicants must provide one of the following test results:- TOEFL iBT: minimum score 90
- IELTS Academic : minimum overall score 6.5 (no subscore below 6.0)
- GMAT : score within the range 620-690
Only the certificates listed above are accepted as proof of English proficiency. No additional or alternative English tests or certificates will be considered.
- Proof of Application fee payment : Make the online payment of the application processing fees on : ESUP Payment Link
- Extra documents (Attention : Do NOT overload your application with documents beyond those requested. However two optional “Other” documents may be added maximum)
3. Submitting your Online Application - Ecandidat Platform
Applications must be completed and submitted via the E-candidat online platform when it opens in February;
- First-time users of eCandidat UBx : click on « eCandidat 2026-2027 account »
- Click on « Create an account »
- Once your eCandidat account is created, complete all required sections :
- Personal Information - Don't forget to select your preferred language : ENGLISH
- Address
- High School Diploma – local studies – non-local studies
- Interships – Work Experience
- When your profile is complete, click on « Application », then on « New application »
- Select « Collège DSPEG – IAE-International Programs (M1 EBA – M2 MBA – M2 IBM) » then choose « Master LMD »
- Complete the file and answer the questions.
Please submit your form only once—avoid multiple online submissions.
4. Wait for your application to be assessed - Eligibility Phase
Eligibility Phase : After the application deadline, the Admissions Committee (with Academic professors from the EBA, MBA, and IBM programs) reviews all complete applications. The committee evaluates prerequisites, academic excellence, and the applicant’s professional goals. The Admissions Committee will determine whether an applicant qualifies for an interview or is rejected.
5. Attend an online Interview - Admission Phase
After submitting your application and required documents, applicants who are deemed eligible will be invited to an online interview (via Zoom or Skype).
