On September 16th, 2025, IAE Bordeaux celebrated its annual International Day, an event dedicated to welcoming new international students and introducing them to the academic, cultural, and social life of the institution. The day combined official presentations, practical information, and interactive activities to help students settle in and connect with one another.
The event opened with a warm reception and welcoming speeches from the Dean of IAE Bordeaux, the international team and program directors, encouraging students to make the most of the opportunities awaiting them.
More than 35 nationalities students discovered key resources that will support them during their studies, including student facilities and digital tools, while the Immigration Office of the University of Bordeaux provided valuable advice on administrative procedures and student services.
A variety of Welcome Day booths awaited the students on the campus patio, presenting different services and associations. From practical information about city transport (TBM) and accomodation (CROUS, CAF) to guidance on health and wellbeing, students found answers to many of their questions. They also connected with student societies discovering opportunities to get involved in campus life.
The highlight of the day was an Intercultural Game Session, led by Emmanuelle Sauvage, Head of the International Business Management Program with the participation of French students from the Master of International Business and Management. International and local teamworks collaborated to create a joint project combining a symbol from each of their countries. It was a fun way to get to know each other and build relationships across cultures.
International Day 2025 was not only a welcome event – it was a celebration of diversity, community, and global learning. By the end of the day, students left with new connections, a better understanding of their new academic environment, and the excitement of becoming part of IAE Bordeaux.
