Dernière mise à jour :
IAE Bordeaux is located in the Bastide Campus on the right bank, just a stone's throw from Bordeaux city center. It presents an ideal working environment for students, thanks to its state-of-the-art facilities.
The Bastide Campus : an urban island in the heart of Bordeaux
Located on the right bank, across from the historic center of Bordeaux, the Pôle Universitaire des Sciences de Gestion (PUSG), one of the campuses of the University of Bordeaux, can accommodate up to 3,000 students. Designed by architects Anne Lacaton and Jean-Philippe Vassal, the building covers 20,000 m². Its modern architecture, featuring glass, metal, and steel, stands out immediately in the urban landscape. Vegetation covers all five floors and is home to around fifteen varieties of plants.
The campus is built around a green interior courtyard and is spread over four buildings, each with its own central patio to provide natural lighting. This bold, environnemental friendly architectural project regularly attracts visits from architecture students from all over Europe who come to study its originality.
Movement between spaces occurs via aerial walkways and exterior balconies that run all around the building. These balconies, which are lined with glass facades, offer a panoramic view of the city. The campus also has an underground parking garage.
The campus has a university restaurant and cafeteria, a media library, a nursing station, and a university physical education and sports service.
A dynamic and inspiring neighborhood
Located in the Bastide neighborhood, a former industrial area undergoing transformation, the campus benefits from a stimulating urban environment. Surrounded by the Botanical Garden, creative and cultural spaces and the banks of the Garonne River, it is part of a neighborhood that values innovation, culture, and social ties.
Studying at the library
