The professional team of the Student Health Center is available to answer your questions and requests, and to support you in all aspects surrounding your health and student life.

STUDENT HEALTH CENTER

Medical appointments, healthcare, advice... the professional team at the Student Health Center provides free advice, information, and consultations tailored to students' needs, including nursing care,  sexual health and screening, dietetics, sports medicine, vaccinations, and accommodations for disabled students' studies and exams. This is a dedicated space with a Mental Health Center, changing rooms, convenient storage spaces, a terrace and a car park.

The Student Health Center coordinates collective health prevention initiatives and free training sessions and workshops, such as mental health first aid, stress management, risk reduction at parties, and low-budget cooking workshops with a dietitian.

On the Pessac campus

  • You can make an appointment online at the Student Health Center via Doctolib. Consultations are available in person or via teleconsultation. Don't forget your student ID card !

Office hours, presentations, and workshops are held on the Bastide campus throughout the year according to the annual calendar or by request.

You can meet a social worker in complete confidentiality to find solutions to your questions and to advise you on all aspects of student life. If necessary, they can also collaborate with internal services a at the University of Bordeaux.

Sport

The University of Bordeaux offers over forty sports activities : from rugby to surfing, and including dance. There's something for everyone !

Whether you are an experienced athlete, disabled or only do sports occasionally, you can recharge your batteries, improve your skills or discover new ones.
You can practice on your own or be supervised by physical education (PE) and sports teachers.

We strongly encourage and support student athletes involved in high-level sports, helping them to succeed in their dual academic and athletic pursuits.

Healthy Campus Program

The Healthy Campus initiative, which the University of Bordeaux has signed up to, aims to work with its communities to build a healthy and inclusive campus in order to promote health and well-being and combat inequality through various actions :

  • Health Living Lab, Studend health observatory and the occupationnal health department
  • A welcome plan for student and staff communities, included an assistance with administrative procedures and digital equipment
  • Encouraging physical activity and combating sedentary lifestyles through an enhanced sports offering, the “active university” program, and personalized support for adapted physical activity and medical monitoring
  • A support, monitoring, and reporting unit is available to victims and witnesses of violence and discriminations
